MEMBO TERMS OF USE

Note: By accessing or using Membo ("Platform"), you agree to comply with these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue use of the Platform immediately.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms govern your use of Membo and all its services, features, and content.

• Age Restriction: Only users aged 16 years or older may register for an account.

• Geographic Availability: Membo is accessible globally, but users are responsible for complying with local laws and regulations.

2. Account Terms and Responsibilities

A. Account Creation

• Users may create up to 5 accounts per month using valid information.

• Providing false information during registration may result in immediate termination of your account(s).

B. Account Security  

• You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

• Sharing passwords with third parties is strictly prohibited and may result in account compromise. 

• Membo is not liable for any unauthorized access resulting from your failure to protect your credentials.

C. Prohibited Conduct

Accounts may be suspended or terminated for any of the following violations: 

• Posting offensive contentincluding racism, hate speech, or targeted harassment against individuals or regions   

• Engaging in threats, bullying, or illegal activities

• Distributing spam, scams, or fraudulent fundraising campaigns 

• Attempting to exploit platform vulnerabilities or payment systems

3. User-Generated Content (UGC) & Intellectual Property

A. Ownership

• Users retain full ownership of their posts, reels, messages, and other created content.

• By posting content, you grant Membo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content on the platform.

B. Copyright Infringement

• To report copyright violations, contact us at help@membo.club with clear evidence of ownership and infringement details.
      
• Repeat infringers will face permanent account termination.

4. Wallet & Financial Terms

A. Transactions

      
• No transaction fees apply for transfers between Membo users (User A → User B).
     
• Refund requests will be processed within 14 business days when applicable.

B. Misuse of Funds

     
• Membo is not responsible for lost or stolen funds resulting from weak passwords or unauthorized account access.
       
• Users must immediately report suspicious wallet activity to our support team.

5. Disclaimers & Liability

A. Service "As Is"

• Membo provides the platform "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
     
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free service at all times.

B. Data Loss

In the event of data loss due to system failures:

      
• Membo will notify affected users promptly
     
• We will issue a formal apology and implement measures to prevent recurrence.

6. Termination & Data Retention

A. Suspension Appeals

     
• Banned users may appeal by contacting help@membo.club with a detailed explanation.
     
• Appeals will be reviewed within 10 business days.
 

B. Inactive Accounts

       
• Accounts showing no activity for 5 years may be permanently deleted.
     
• Users will receive multiple warnings via email before deletion.

7. Governing Law & Disputes

• These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nigeria.
       
• Users agree to attempt mediation/arbitration through Membo's designated process before pursuing legal action.

8. Policy Updates

• Changes to these Terms will be communicated via email and in-app announcements.
     
• Continued use of Membo after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Miscellaneous

• Force Majeure: Membo is not liable for failures or delays due to events beyond our reasonable control (natural disasters, wars, etc.).
     
• Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
